Terms and Services

General Terms and Conditions of Services

  1. Scope of Services
Metic Global Oy (“Metic”) provides business relocation, immigration services, and related consulting to clients as described in each individual agreement. Specific services will be detailed within the scope of each client agreement.

  2. Team
Metic provides services through its qualified team members and may, when appropriate, engage third-party service providers to assist in fulfilling its obligations. These third parties are carefully selected and are bound by confidentiality obligations aligned with Metic’s own standards. The team and any third-party providers will perform services under the supervision of Metic to maintain consistent quality and compliance.

  3. Fees and Invoicing
Fees for services are set out in each client agreement. Invoices will be issued based on the terms established in the individual client contract, and specific payment instructions are provided in these agreements.

  4. Confidentiality
Metic will keep confidential all information received from the client in the course of providing services. This includes sensitive information and personal data pertinent to the services rendered. Confidentiality obligations remain in effect after the conclusion of the service agreement. Metic will only disclose client information if required by law, with the client’s explicit consent, or as necessary to provide the services effectively.

  5. Intellectual Property Rights
Any intellectual property rights, materials, methods, or documents developed by Metic during the engagement remain the property of Metic, unless otherwise agreed in writing. The client is granted a non-exclusive, limited license to use such materials strictly for internal purposes relevant to the scope of services.

  6. Anti-Money Laundering Compliance
Metic adheres to all applicable anti-money laundering (AML) regulations. Metic reserves the right to request additional identification and verification documents from clients as part of its due diligence procedures. If required by law or regulation, Metic may report certain transactions or suspicious activities to relevant authorities. Metic will not be liable for any delays or restrictions in providing services that result from compliance with AML laws.

  7. Data Protection
Metic is committed to data protection and the secure handling of personal data. All personal information will be processed in compliance with applicable Finnish and EU data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

  8. Limitation of Liability
Metic’s liability is limited to direct damages caused by gross negligence, with a maximum liability equal to the total amount of fees received for services rendered under the specific agreement. Metic is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including loss of profit, revenue, or business opportunity.

  9. Force Majeure
Metic shall not be held liable for any delay or failure in the performance of its obligations under these Terms and Conditions if such delay or failure is due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or interruptions in public infrastructure.

  10. Termination
Either party may terminate the service agreement if the other party is in material breach of its obligations and fails to remedy such breach within a specified time after being notified. Termination does not absolve the client from paying for services rendered up to the termination date.

  11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Finnish law. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be resolved through amicable negotiations. If an agreement cannot be reached, disputes will be settled in the District Court of Helsinki, Finland.
