Helsinki-Uusimaa region, for the first time in its history, ranked first on the scoreboard`s assessment in 2019.
According to the scoreboard, factors that carried Helsinki-Uusimaa up to the first place include high number of patent and trademark applications, the number of citizens engaged in life-long learning, the level of educated people and the innovative activities of small-medium-sized enterprises.
Following Helsinki-Uusimaa, Stockholm and Copenhagen ranked in the list.
